Rockville Lake Park offers individuals a perfect location to fully enjoy all outdoor leisure experiences. The park is an excellent place for a weekend getaway allowing you to get back to the outdoors and nature. There is really no better way to relieve the stress of everyday life than to get into the outdoors. Even for just the day, outdoor recreation is a cheap easy way to enjoy the simplest aspects of life and Rockville Lake Park is a great choice for such an experience.

Looking for a place to bring the kiddies for a day of fun in the sun... we have three modern playgrounds, swingsets, and a beach for a refreshing plunge in the lake. Don't forget to bring your picnic, with several grills and three shelter houses located in our lakefront area a family picnic is one of the best ways to spend a Saturday or Sunday outside at the park. Get a little warm, come on in to the gatehouse for some ice cream!

Every year Rockville Lake Park hosts one of the best 4th of July celebrations. We have inflatable toys for the kids, a live band for everyone to enjoy, and a top notch fireworks display at dark. This event is put on for campers and the locals to all enjoy and we invite everyone to come out for the evening and join us in celebrating our country's independence!!

This year our celebration will be held on Saturday June 30, 2012. We will have the inflatable toys set up beside the beach, live music will be playing in our medium shelter, great food from our vendors and fireworks out over the lake! Give us a call or just come on out for the day!!

We will once again have live music!! Check back to see who will be performing!

The fireworks begin at dark! You will get to witness 30 minutes of a beautiful display put on by Arial Arts Fireworks!!

.

Rockville Lake Park is also home to the soccer fields for the Parke County Youth Soccer Association. They have a spring season and a fall season. Soccer is a great activity for your children to participate and the PCYSA is growing in numbers every year due to the excellent programs that they privide!
