ACTIVITIES VOLLEYBALL
The park offers two sand volleyball courts. Courts located near the beach and basketball court. PLAYGROUNDS
The playground includes swings, slides, and a merry-go-round. Located conveniently on the lake front and in the camping areas. FISHING
The lake offers fishing for various species including; largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and channel catfish. Along with boat and shoreline fishing, there is a 135 ft. fishing pier located at the south end of the park along the beach. For information about the Open Bass Tournament, click here. ICE FISHING
When the ice reaches at least 4 inches thick we open the gates for ice fishing. There is a $4.00 fee for ice fishing, but it is worth it. A lot of big bluegill and Crappie are caught through the ice.
NATURE TRAILS We are currently upgrading our trails through a grant with The Parke County Soil and Water Conservation District. The trails are nearly 2 miles and will have bridges wildlife viewing areas and self-guided nature areas.
SWIMMING
The beach area is designated for swimming. Swimmers swim at there own risk, the park does not provide lifeguards. Pets are not allowed on the beach and children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. BASKETBALL There is one basketball court available to all visitors, located on the north side of the park next to one of the volleyball courts. Basketballs and volleyballs are available at the gatehouse free of charge($10 deposit required) 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS!! July 6th 2008. Call for more information.
