Frequently Asked Questions


Do you need a fishing license?

Yes, you must have a license at all public fishing areas.

Do you allow pets?

Yes, as long as they are on a leash.

Do you have security?

Yes, nightly security is provided.

Can you use a gas motor on the lake?

No, only electric motors are permitted.

Where is the park located?

Refer to Directions

Do you allow alcohol in the park?

Yes, as long as you are of age.

What are modern, primitive, lakefront, and AA campsites?

Modern campsites provide water and electric.  Primitive is a basic campsite with a fire ring, picnic table and no other utilities.  Lakefront campsites only provide electric.  AA campsites provide water, electric, and sewer utilities. 

Can you put a camper on a primitive site?

Yes, but there are no utilities provided.

Where is the closest camp store or bait shop?

The gate house at the entrance of the park sells food, bait, and camping supplies.

Are four wheelers and dirt bikes allowed in the park?

ATV's are not permitted in the park.

Are guns allowed in the park?

Guns are not permitted in the park
